Writing Challenges Again [Meta Post]

Another post (if you count this post's first paragraph) to just let it out about how long it takes to create a blog post and I'm not a patient person. C'est la vie, I suppose. Sigh. I got inspired to write a post today, and it took all day. First thinking, then writing, then hunting for pictures, writing some more, watching a video, taking screencaps, pause/play/repeat to get the best screencap, writing some more, cropping screencaps, uploading pics, laying out pics, previewing the post at various times to see how the post looks. I am neurotic and everything has to look great (though sometimes I'll be frustrated and just lose interest). Not sure I can keep this up, especially once I have less free time again.

I think at least I have figured out that for me, if there's a match I want to write about and I decide to do it, it's best that I watch the match with an eye to particular timepoints I want to write about or potentially take screencaps of. Then I should do another pass and take the screenshots I want to. If I take screencaps first, I get frustrated because I'm less familiar with the match at that point in time and thus am not sure if I want to be taking as many screencaps early on. This seems to be at least one way I can streamline the writing process.

Edit: It's not even done once I hit the Publish button. Gotta go back and fix broken image links so pictures displayed correctly. Argh
